Configuring Media Item Crop Sizes

📋 Setup
Select Admin in the side menu
Select Client configuration from the Admin sub-menu
📘 Steps
1️⃣ In the Media Library section, under the Custom sizing heading, deselect the Allow custom crop sizes checkbox
2️⃣ Click the Add button to add the width and height of an allowed, preset crop size; repeat as necessary
3️⃣ Click Save
⚙️ Verifying the Configuration
Setup
Click Library in the side menu
Select Media from the Library sub-menu
Select a Media Item that is an image
Click the crop button
Steps
1️⃣ Observe that the image cropping tool is not available – there are no handles available; the image cannot be interacted with
2️⃣ Click the Aspect Ratio dropdown
3️⃣ Select from the available preset crop sizes
4️⃣ Click Save

The image cannot be manually cropped using the cropping tool if Allow custom crop sizes is disabled; it can only be cropped using the preset crop sizes from the Aspect Ratio dropdown
Only preset sizes smaller than the image’s native size will display in the Aspect Ratio dropdown; the dropdown is disabled if all existing preset sizes are larger than the image’s native size – in which case the image cannot be cropped

This feature is not Task-protected – changes, including deletions, are effective immediately and are not reversible
