The default image width setting only applies to images inserted using the Insert Image button in the Rich Text Editor toolbar – it does not apply to inserted Forrit Media Items; see 3.3 Configuring Additional Features to enable the Insert Image button and image editing

📋 Setup

Select Admin in the side menu

Select Client configuration from the Admin sub-menu

📘 Steps

1️⃣ In the Rich Text Editor section, under the Default image heading, enter a numerical value into the Default image width field

2️⃣ Click Save

Setup

Select Pages from the side menu

Select a Task

Select a Page

Select the Content tab

In the title bar, click the expander arrow button to expand filter options

Select a Locale and Variant

Select a Component with Rich Text from the list on the right-hand side

Steps

1️⃣ Click the Insert Image icon in the Rich Text Editor toolbar

2️⃣ Enter the URL of an external image

3️⃣ Click Insert

4️⃣ Observe that the image width matches the configured default image width

The numerical value entered defines the px width of the image
