Configuring Font Awesome

User Journey – Configuring Font Awesome
📋 Setup
Select Admin in the side menu
Select Client configuration from the Admin sub-menu
📘 Steps
1️⃣ In the Features section, under the heading Font Awesome - Colours, click the Add button
2️⃣ Add the colour name in the Name field and its colour value in the format #RRGGBBAA in the Value field; repeat to add other colours – these colours will be available in the Insert Font Awesome Icon menu in the Rich Text Editor toolbar to apply to icons
3️⃣ In the Features section, under the heading Font Awesome - CSS, enter the Font Awesome stylesheet integrity hash and URL
4️⃣ In the Features section, under the heading Font Awesome - Default Icons, click the Add button
5️⃣ Enter the icon display name in the Name field and its CSS class in the Value field; repeat to add other icons
⚙️ Verifying the Configuration
Setup
Select Pages from the side menu
Select a Task
Select a Page
Select the Content tab
In the header bar, click the expander arrow if the filter options are hidden
Select a Locale and Variant
Select a Component with Rich Text from the list on the right-hand side
Steps
1️⃣ Click the Insert Font Awesome Icon button in the Rich Text Editor toolbar
2️⃣ Select one of the Font Awesome default icons that have been configured
3️⃣ Select one of the Font Awesome colours that have been configured
4️⃣ Click Insert – both icon and colour must be selected

Font Awesome is a third-party library used to provide icons
Font Awesome colours must be entered in the #RRGGBBAA format
All Font Awesome settings must be configured before the configuration can be saved – stylesheet, colours, and icons
When in the Insert Font Awesome Icon menu in the Rich Text Editor toolbar, both icon and colour must be selected before the Insert button is enabled
Unlike the configuration for paragraph and table classes in the Rich Text Editor, Font Awesome default icons are configured with their display name in the Name field and their class in the Value field
Warnings
This feature is not Task-protected – changes, including deletions, are effective immediately and are not reversible
