Critical Incidents

The critical severity is reserved for the most serious issues that can be found with the system. As the table above describes:

The defect is critical and has stopped the entire system, corrupted files, or has taken out over 50% of the applications operational capacity.

Within the context of Forrit CMS, this could mean a number of things:

  • Consumer apps (the endpoint websites used by customers) are completely down

  • Large amounts of content have disappeared from the consumer apps

  • Releases do not work, meaning the customer cannot deploy changes

  • CMS application is down, or inaccessible

If you are unsure but have a time-critical incident to resolve please let us know so we can assess this correctly before standing up a crisis team.

Once the incident has been sent, we will stay in touch with you throughout the process until it’s resolved.
