Overview
Once you have completed your content edits and are ready to publish them, you will need to build a release. A release can include content changes from a Task, or from content that has been through the Workflow approval process.
This is a simple task that is done via the Release Menu option and can be deployed to either a staging environment It can be taken from a task or from approved content. A release can be published to any environment that your company has chosen to set up with Forrit One. Examples of environments are; Test Environments, Pre-Production Environments, or Production.
If you require new testing environments at any time, you should contact your Client Service representative, who will be pleased to help you with this activity.
To note, that while it is possible to deploy any release to a non-Production app, only approved content may be deployed to Production.
Before a task is completed, it can be released to a Staging website running a non-Production app so you can review and test it before going live.
