Changing a default value in the Component Editor will change it everywhere it is used, which is unlike the behaviour of default values in Data Feed Definition fields
Picklists can be configured in the Component Editor to allow either a single value or multiple values to be selected when used on a Page by using the Single select and Multi select switches
