Components, Templates, Pages v3.1

This section will provide information on how to:

• Create new pages

• Build a page layout with components

• Build and use page templates across your site

• Build components

• Add content to your pages

• Edit existing pages, templates, and components.

In building a site for the first time, it is recommended to create a conceptual design of the page and overall site in advance to give an understanding of the components, pages and templates needed.

It is easier to build page layouts inside the Forrit CMS, if the components are all built-in advance, as this will allow for a streamlined and easy page building experience using the simple drag and drop feature.
