4.0 Adding a Component Template Slot

Select a Task

Select Components from the side menu

In the header bar, click the expander arrow if the filter options are hidden

1️⃣ Click the pencil icon on the Component Template to add a Template Slot to

2️⃣ Type HTML, including the Component Template Slot syntax, into the Component Editor

3️⃣ Click Save

4️⃣ [optional] Click Close

If Template Slot syntax is entered into a Component – Rather than a Component Template – an error is displayed and the Component cannot be saved

Multiple Components can be inserted into a single Template Slot in the Page Layout Editor
