This user journey is the same as 4.0 Adding a Component Variable, except that it demonstrates setting a default value for each Variable Type

Changing a default value in the Component Editor will change it everywhere it is used

Picklists can be configured in the Component Editor to allow either a single value or multiple values to be selected when used on a Page by using the Single select and Multi select switches
