Editing Content Entries: Collections

User Journey - Editing Content Entries: Collections
📋 Setup
Select a Task
Select Pages from the side menu
Select a Page
Select the Layout tab
In the header bar, click the expander arrow if the filter options are hidden
📘 Steps
Getting Started
1️⃣ Hover the Content Entry to edit
Click the edit icon that appears to the right
The Content Entries modal opens
Select a Locale
Editing Items
Click the edit icon to the right of the Collection Item to edit
Modal shows Fields for the clicked Collection Item
Change field values
Click Previous entry
Navigates back to the collection
Adding Items
1️⃣ Click Link existing content entriesto add an existing Content Entry to the Collection of Items in the Repeater
Content Entry Edit Screen appears in the modal
2️⃣ Fill out the Collection Item’s fields as appropriate – see 5.0 Editing Content Entries: Field Values
Reordering Items
1️⃣ Click and drag the handle on the left-hand side of a Collection Item to reorder it
Navigating the Side-Menu
Click the expander arrow on the left to the side menu
Click the expand arrow on the right of the Content Entry to see the Collection
Click the expand arrow on the right of the Collection to see the linked Content Entries
Click a Collection Item to edit
Modal shows Fields for the clicked Collection Item, where values can be changed
Change field values
Click Previous entry
Navigates back to the collection
Unlinking Items
1️⃣ Click the unlink icon to remove a Collection Item
Click Clearto remove all Collection Items from the repeater
Click Yes to confirm
Finishing up
1️⃣ Click the Savebutton in the Content Entries modal to save changes

Instead of linking an existing Content Entry, a new Content Entry can be added to the collection from scratch by clicking on Create new entryin the Content Entries modal - see 5.0 Add a Content Entry
Warnings
It is not recommended to use Collections for table content; instead, consider using the Rich Text Editor
